Description
  • This brief view from inside to the surface of polymer systems shows the necessity of multidisciplinary characterization for the description of complex organic-inorganic nanocomposite coatings. The combination of %22classical%22 and %22up-to date%22 analytical techniques spanning from the segmental up to the macroscopic level was found to be the best method. The proper combination of analytical techniques, for example, ss-NMR spectroscopy with SAXS/WAXS analysis or WAXS/TEM, provides a deeper view %22inside%22. Light (SEM) microscopy with atomic force microscopy offers a more precise view %22on the surface%22 of PNCs.
