  • Studovali jsme in vivo cévní kompatibilitu a uvolňování léčiv in vitro u nového typu stentu potaženého biodegradovatelným polymerem (CVT- polymer stent). Morfologie polymerního povlaku stentu byla studována pomocí rastrovací elektronové mikroskopie a porovnávána s jinými typy stentů. V tomto srovnání se CVT-polymer stent se ukázal jako vhodný kandidát pro další vývoj nové generace stentů s řízeným uvolňováním terapeutických látek pro aplikaci do koronárních tepen. (cs)
  • Vascular compatibility of a novel bioerodible polymer-coated stent (CVT-polymer stent) in vivo and its peformace as a drug carrier in vitro was studied. Morphology of the polymer coatings of the stent was evaluated by using scanning electron microscopy and compared with other coronary artery stent devices. The CVT-polymer-coated stent device appears to be a suitable candidate for further development as a novel second-generation drug-eluting stent system.
