  • V této práci popisujeme přípravu a vlastnosti vodorozpustných systémů pro cílenou dopravu léčiv s pH řízenou aktivací. Připravené konjugáty jsou stabilní v prostředí modelující pH krve (7,4), ale uvolňují aktivní léčivo v mírně kyselých roztocích (pH 5) modelujících endozomální a lyzozomální prostředí v buňkách. V této práci jsme ukázali, že takovéto systémy jsou efektivnější při léčbě rakovinných onemocnění než volné léčivo Doxorubicin nebo dříve vyvinutý klasický polymerní konjugát. (cs)
  • We have described the synthesis and properties of water-soluble drug delivery systems with pH-labile drug activation. The conjugates are relatively stable at blood pH (7.4) but release the active drug under mild acidic conditions (pH 5) corresponding to endosomal and lysosomal environment inside the cells. We have shown that such systems (HPMA-based and PEG-based) are more effective anticancer drugs than the free drug (doxorubicin, commonly used for cancer treatment in humans) or previously developed classic polymer conjugate.
