  • Magnetic spherical carriers based on cellulose or poly(HEMA-co-EDMA) were used for immobilization of RNase A resulting in bioactive sorbents for degradation of high-molecular-weight RNA. The immobilized RNase temperature stability, enzyme activity, and a comparison of soluble and immobilized RNase were studied. RNase immobilized on magnetic bead cellulose was used for high-performance size-exclusion chromatography purification of PUC19 plasmid DNA.
