Description	It has been 35 years since the first neutron difractometer SPN-100 was installed at the research reactor VVR-S, Řež. The article is the author`s a honest view of the history of the neutron diffraction group, its growth, its expansion of the scope of research, as well as a look at the present experimental capabilities and future research potential. (en) V tomto roce uplynulo právě 35 let od uvedení do provozu prvního neutronového difraktometru SPN-100 u výzkumného reaktoru VVR-S v Řeži. Článek je subjektivním ohlédnutím se autora do historie skupiny neutronové difrakce, jejího růstu, rozšiřování výzkumné problematiky a také na současný stav experimentálního vybavení a výzkumných aktivit s perspektivou do budoucnosti.
