  • Mikrofluidické systémy pro kombinatorickou chemii se používají k objevování a optimalizaci nových látek a materiálů (jako jsou třeba léky nebo katalyzátory) a k optimalizaci podmínek, za nichž jsou materiály vyráběny. Systém zpravidla provádí paralelně velký počet chemických reakcí lišících se některými podmínkami zatímco jiné zůstávají invariantní. Mikrofluidika umožňuje podstatně zvýšit počet prováděných souběžných reakcí a zajisti lepší konstantnost neměnných podmínek. (cs)
