  • K analýze chaotických dat a nelineárních jevů v různých procesech lze použít metodu časově posunutých dat s následným odhadem korelační dimenze. Toto platí i pro dynamiku plazmatu. My jsme použili dc-plazmatron krmený argonem a analyzovali výsledný proud plazmatu. Aplikací algoritmu Grassberger-Procaccia jsme odhadli korelační dimenzi fázových portrétů obloukového proudu v intervalu 1,7 až 2,0. Odhady korelačních dimenzí pro optické záznamy vedly k očekávanému profilu - nízkým hodnotám v jádru jetu a vyšším hodnotám na (turbulentních) okrajích. Odhady korelačních dimenzí mohou tedy sloužit jako charakteristika dynamiky proudu plazmatu. (cs)
  • The method of time embedding reconstruction of phase portraits and correlation dimension estimation can be used for analysis of chaotic data and non-linearphenomena in various dynamic models, simulations and experiments including investigations of plasma dynamics. In our experiments we have used a dc argon plasma torch for the generation of a thermal plasma jet and be application of Grassberger-Proccacia algorithm estimated correlation dimensions of arc current phase portraits to vyry between 1.7 and 2.0. Correlation dimension estomates for optical record showexpectable profile with lower values in the jet core and higher at the (turbulent) jet boundaries and can serve as indicator and characterization of dynamics.
