  • The article is a continuation of previous paper ´Capacitance in Microfluidics´ by the same author, published bi-monthly. While the first part discussed general principles of fluid accumulation, this second article covers a detailed description of the graviational and fluid compression capacitance mechanisms. Mathematical capacitance models are given and the effect of capacitances on different microfluidic circuit types is discussed.

  • Tato práce navazuje na předcházející článek „Capacitance in Microfluidics“ od téhož autora. Jde o sérii článků vycházejících vždy ob dva měsíce. Zatímco předcházející příspěvek probíral obecné principy akumulace tekutin ve fluidických prvcích, druhý článek se nyní konkrétně zabývá gravitačním mechanismem a mechanismem akumulace tekutin v důsledku jejich stlačitelnosti. Jsou uvedeny matematické modely kapacitance a je probírán vliv kapacitance na různé druhy mikrofluidických obvodů. (cs)
