Byla objasněna strktura ve vodě rozpustného polysacharidu izolovaného ze sladkovodní řasy Chlorella kessleri. Byla použita 13C-NMR ke stanovení konfigurace glykosidických vazeb a jednotlivým monosacharidům byla přiřazena konfigurace L nebo D na základě optické otáčivosti (cs)
