  • High-resolution X-ray structures together with small-angle X-ray scattering molecular and modeling enabled to solve the structure of the fusion protein nucleocapsid (NC)-dUTPase of Mason-Pfizer monkey virus. The fusion protein forms the homotrimer, in which the NC domains adopt the trimeric symmetry of dUTPase upon oligonucleotide binding. The C-terminal segment of dUTPase has an unique orientation upon the active site due to the presence of the fused NC domain.

  • Kombinace vysokorozlišující rentgenové krystalogragie s X-ray scatteringem a molekulárním modelováním umožnila vyřešit strukturu fúzního proteinu NC-dUTPasy z Mason-Pfizerova opičího viru. Fúzní protein tvoří homotrimer, ve kterém doména nukleokapsidu zaujímá trimerovou symetrii po navázání oligonukleotidů. C-koncová doména dUTPasy má specifickou orientaci nad aktivním místem enzymu díky přítomnosti NC domény. (cs)
