Description	The title spirobifluorene tetracarboxylic acid and the corresponding tetraamide have been designed as convenient tectons for self-assembly of 2D layers with large chiral pores. This concept has been confirmed by the single crystal X-ray analysis of the tetraacid. Self-assembly of the tetraamide led to markedly different results. Zatímco rentgenostrukturní analýza monokrystalu tetrakyseliny potvrdila vstupní předpoklady, krystalová samoskladba molekul tetraamidu vedla k odlišnému krystalovému uspořádání. (cs)
