  • The study of biological samples (human/animal tissues, body fluids including blood, urine etc), within the health service, water industry, metallurgy, education, food industry, agriculture, etc., requires simple, precise, sufficiently highly sensitive methods. These methods need to be easily automated and can be applied in field measurements. From this point of view, electrochemical methods, especially voltammetry and potentiometric stripping analysis (PSA), or electrochemical detection used in separation methods, are very well suited. The applications for these methods are wide ranging however these techniques are especially advantageous due to their possibility to be utilized in analysis of trace elements, their complexes, various inorganic and organic compounds in aqueous as well as nonaqueous systems.

  • Studium biologických vzorků (lidské/zvířecí tkáně, tělesné tekutiny, včetně krve, moči atd.) ve zdravotnictví, vodohospodářství, metalurgii, školství, potravinářství, zemědělství atd., vyžaduje jednoduché, precizní, dostatečně citlivé metody. Tyto metody musí být automatizované a schopné nasazení v přímo v místě odběru. Z tohoto hlediska, elektrochemické metody, především voltametrie a potenciometrická stripping analýza (PSA) nebo elektrochemická detekce používaná v separačních metodách jsou velmi vhodné pro tyto účely. Oblast aplikací těchto metod je široká, avšak tyto metody jsou především vhodné díky jejich vhodnosti v oblasti analýzy stopových prvků, jejich komplexů, rozličných anorganických a organických látek ve vodných stejně jako nevodných roztocích. Vysoká citlivost a nebo zlepšení v poměru signál- šum mohou být dosaženy elektrochemickou prekoncentrací analytu a aplikací nestacionárních měřicích technik ve voltametrii. (cs)
