Description
  • Compound [CuI(adc-pip)(dppf)](BF4), (1)(BF4) was obtained by reacting azodicarboxylic acid dipiperidide (adc-pip) with [Cu(dppf)(CH3CN)2](BF4) (dppf = 1,1´-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene). Spectroscopic and structural evidences have shown that the heterodinuclear complex cation [Cu(dppf)]+ can engage in charge transfer relative to a strongly .pi. accepting chelate system N=N-C=O without causing full electron transfer, thus allowing for the first time to study the spectroscopy and structure of an unreduced .alpha.-azocarbonyl metal complex.

  • Sloučenina [CuI(adc-pip)(dppf)](BF4), (1)(BF4) byla získána reakcí dipiperididu kyseliny azodikarboxylové (adc-pip) s [Cu(dppf)(CH3CN)2](BF4) (dppf = 1,1´-bis(difenylfosfino)ferocen). Spektroskopické a strukturální evidence ukázaly, že heterodinukleární komplexní kation [Cu(dppf )]+ se může účastnit přenosu náboje k silně .pi. akceptorovému chelátovému systému N=N-C=O, aniž by způsobil plný přenos elektronu, což poprvé umožnilo studovat spektroskopii a strukturu neredukovaného .alpha.-azokarbonylového kovového komplexu.
