Description
| - Poprvé byly studovány elektronové spinové stavy uhlíkatých nanotrubiček (SWCNTs) a fulerenových „peapodů“ (C60@SWCNTs) v průběhu jejich elektrochemické redukce in situ v roztocích metodou elektronové paramagnetické rezonance (EPR). Elektrochemickou redukcí C60@SWCNTs při vysokých redukčních potenciálech dochází k tvorbě nespárovaných spinů pouze na SWCNT, zatímco intratubulární C60 zůstává nezměněn. Mírně anizotropní EPR signály byly pozorovány v oblasti potenciálů od -1,75 V do -2,15 V proti dekametylferocénovému redox páru. Tyto signály, se středem při g = 2,0038 (elektronový g-faktor), vykazovaly hyperjemnou strukturu, která ukazuje na přítomnost funkčních skupin obsahujících atomy N, O, H v sousedství nespárovaného elektronu. Uvedené EPR signály byly odlišné od signálů chemicky redukovaných SWCNTs a C60@SWCNTs. EPR spektra se měnily v závislosti na typu protiiontů použitého elektrolytu (byly použity tetraalkylammónniové kationty). (cs)
- The first in situ electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroelectrochernical study of C-60 fullerene peapods (C-60@SWCNT) as well as that of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) in different electrolyte solutions describes the formation of spin states by charge transfer reactions. Electrochemical reduction of peapods at high negative potentials causes the production of spins at the SWCNT site, while the intratubular fullerene is unchanged. Slightly anisotropic EPR signals were detected during electrochemical reduction of single-walled carbon nanotubes and fullerene peapods in the potential region from - 1.75 to -2.15 V vs. decamethylferrocene/decamethylferrocinium couple. They are centered at g = 2.0038 and exhibit a hyperfine structure indicating the presence of functional groups containing N, O, H atoms in neighborhood. They differ from the EPR signals of chemically (potassium) doped SWCNT and C-60@SWCNT. ...
