  • The cracking of 2-methyl-2-butene was canied out as a model reaction Of C-4(+) olefins cracking by using of various zeolite and zeotype catalysts to obtain light olefins, such as ethylene and propylene. Only ZSM-5 and ZSM-11 zeolites with 10-MRP with intersecting channels and acid sites concentration ranging between 0.03 and 0.1 mmol/g exhibit high and stable selectivity to C-2-C-4 olefins at high conversion level. Active and selective catalysts were prepared by three different methods: direct synthesis of H-ZSM-5 with high Si/Al ratio, steaming of HZSM-5 and %22partial%22 ammonium ion exchange of Na-ZSM-5. Neither H-(AI)ZSM-5 with high concentration of acid sites nor H-(Fe)ZSM-5 are suitable catalysts as they catalyze hydrogen-transfer reactions yielding paraffins and aromatics, showing the importance of low concentration and high strength of acid sites for cracking activity-selectivity.

  • Bylo studováno krakování 2-metyl-2-butenu jako modelová reakce krakování C4+ olefinů s použitím různých zeolitů a zetypů za účelem získat lehké olefiny zejména ethylen a propylen. Jen zeolity ZSM-5 a ZSM-11 s protínajícími se 10-MRP a koncentrací kyselých center v rozsahu 0,03 – 0,1 mmol.g-1 vykazují vysokou a stabilní selektivitu na C2-C4 olefiny a vysokou úroveň konverze. Aktivní a selektivní katalyzátor byl připraven pomocí tří metod: přímá syntéza H-ZSM-5 s vysokým poměrem Si/Al, opracováním H-ZSM-5 nebo částečnou iontovou výměnou Na-ZSM-5 NH4+ ionty. H-(Al)ZSM-5 s vysokou koncentrací kyselých center a H-(Fe)ZSM-5 katalyzují reakce s přenosem vodíku poskytující parafíny a aromáty a nejsou tak vhodnými katalyzátory. Toto ukazuje důležitost malé koncentrace a silné kyselosti aktivních center. Vysoký výtěžek butenů v produktech indikuje, že penteny jsou krakovány v 10-MRP za vzniku objemného intermediátu karbéniového iontu vyžadujícího dostatečný prostor v kanálu zeolitu. (cs)
