  • The compound [(mu-dppp)(AuCl)2], previously reported to associate intermolecularly in a chain (catena) structure through AuI -AuI interactions (3.316 angstrom), was obtained from gold(III) precursors in a cyclo form with shortened intramolecular AuI -AuI contacts at 3.237 angstrom and a puckered AuPCCCPAu seven-membered ring. DFT calculations using a large relativistic basis to account for the d10-d10) interaction reproduce the observed molecular structure in the crystal of this %22linkage isomer%22, including the conspicuous distortion at one of the gold atoms. The chelate complex [(dppp)PtCl2] was crystallized and structurally characterized as the dichloromethane solvate.

  • Sloučenina [(dppp)(AuCl)2], která může asociovat intermolekulárně v řetězové (catena) struktuře AuI -AuI interakcí (3.316 A), byla připravena z Au(III) prekursoru v cyclo formě s intramolekulárním AuI -AuI kontaktem 3.237 Å a AuPCCCPAu sedmi-členným kruhem. DFT výpočty používající velké relativistické báze reprodukovaly d10-d10 interakci a popsaly pozorovanou molekulární strukturu v krystalu včetně výrazné distorse jednoho ze zlatých atomů. Chelátový komplex [(dppp)PtCl2] byl krystalizován a strukturně charakterizován. (cs)
