Description
  • The photodegradation of a herbicide monuron in different systems producing hydroxyl radicals was investigated employing solar irradiation at a Compound Parabolic Collector (CPC) reactor at Plataforma Solar de Almería. Hydroxyl radicals were photogenerated either by excitation of Fe(III) aquacomplexes or irradiation of TiO2 semiconductor. A positive effect of combination of these two processes has been proved, especially for very low concentrations of TiO2 compatible with the environment.

  • V laboratoři Evropské komise pro výzkum sluneční energie „Plataforma Solar de Almería“ byla ve fotoreaktoru „Compound Parabolic Collector“ studována fotodegradace herbicidu monuronu v různých soustavách produkujících hydroxylové radikály. Tyto radikály byly fotogenerovány buď excitací aquakomplexů trojmocného železa, nebo ozařováním polovodiče TiO2. Při kombinaci obou systémů byl pozorován synergický efekt, zvláště výrazný při nízkých koncentracích TiO2, neškodných pro životní prostředí. (cs)
