  • Zeolite MCM-58 with aluminum and iron in the framework was synthesized using N-benzylquinuclidinium bromide as structure-directing agent in a wide range of ratios Si/Al = 20-60 and Si/Fe = 20-40 with the objective to investigate the incorporation of these metal cations into the silicate framework and to characterize the concentration and type of acid sites. Acid forms of Al (Fe) MCM-58 are characterized by the vibrations of bridging Si-OH-Al (Fe) groups at 3628 cm-1 and 3564 cm-1 (Al MCM-58) or 3646 cm-1 and 3500 cm-1 (Fe MCM-58), respectively. Both types of acid sites are accessible for d3-acetonitrile and pyridine probe molecules. Both (Al) and (Fe) MCM-58 exhibit substantial concentrations of Lewis sites (Al: 50 %; Fe: 90 %) over the whole Si/Al (Si/Fe) range. Only a small increase in the concentration of Bronsted-acid sites was achieved after calcination in a stream of ammonia.

  • Zeolit MCM-58 s hliníkem a železem v mřížce byl připraven s N-benzylquinuclidin bromidem jako strukturně řídícím činidlem v širokém rozmezí poměrů Si/Al = 20 – 60 a Si/Fe = 20 – 40. Cílem studie bylo připravit zeolit MCM-58 jako alumosilikátové a železosilikátové analogy a charakterizovat koncentraci a typ kyselých center. Kyselé formy Al(Fe)MCM-58 jsou typické vibracemi můstkových skupin Si-OH-Al (Fe) o vlnočtu 3628 cm-1 a 3564 cm-1 pro Al-MCM-58 nebo 3646 cm-1 a 3500 cm-1 pro Fe-MCM-58. Oba typy zeolitů a jejich kyselých center jsou přístupné pro testovací molekuly, kterými byly d3-acetonitril pro Al-MCM-58 a pyridin pro Fe-MCM-58. Oba typy zeolitů vykazují značné množstvi Lewisovských kyselých center (Al: 50 % a Fe: 90 %) v celém rozsahu Si/Al (Fe) poměrů. (cs)
