Description
  • Some types of modern aircraft are equipped with a low flight's system. A new quality of the flight load is represented by + and –Gz changes. The tolerance to this load cannot be simply derived from the level of relax +Gz tolerance. Measurement in real flights was selected in order to evaluate physiological response to the above-mentioned load. Czech Air Force pilots were examined during two flights with sinusoidal alternating Gz acceleration at range from -1,5 Gz to +3,5 Gz. Each pilot was exposed to 15 cycles of repetition with periods approximately 16 seconds. Continuous blood pressure was measured by portapres device and heart rate by cockpit physiological system.
