Description
  • This paper deals with deconvolution as a tool for improvement image quality. It is assumed that tested images are mainly distorted by effect of interference and defocusing during their formation process. Three selected deconvolution techniques are compared in the paper, The Gold Iterative Algorithm, The Nearest Neighbors Algorithm, and Blind Deconvolution Algorithms. Work is mainly focused on their application in nanostructure image preprocessing. In the first part of the paper, mathematical background of selected methods is briefly introduced. In the next part, all techniques are tested on real microscope images and their results are compared. Based on results obtained, the Gold iterative algorithm is presented as the most suitable solution for this type of images.
