Description
  • As a controlled system is the condenser highly nonlinear and its behavior is no exactly defined. It is the tubular condenser fabricated from stainless steel. Cooling water is streaming thru pipes and vapor comes into space round them. We have found, that on the condenser surface is possible to recognize quite sharp boundary between cold and warm zone. The position of this boundary changes depending on operation conditions, namely depending on evaporator capacity. The experiments were focused on study of changing of temperature field of the condenser surface by different operational conditions. Compact infrared thermo-camera FLIR T 400 with high-resolution micro bolometer infrared detector (320x240 pixel) was used for measurement of surface temperature. In this contribution the system description, main results of measurements and their evaluations are presented.
