Description
| - Empirical procedures and reduced quantities approach have been applied for flash temperature estimation. It was shown that empirical equations (1, 2, 3) are generally suitable for the flash temperature estimation, especially for limited range of substances. In the area of the reduced quantities methods it seems that only Tf/Tb fragment is suitable to use. It have been also demonstrated that data purity neglecting is a serious problem. To mix different data sources it should be done very carefully and to use not carefully estimated values for Tm, Tb, Tc can distort the relationship.
