  • Limiting activity coefficients of seven selected ethers (diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, tetrahydropyran, dimethoxymethane, 1,2dimethoxyethane, 1,3-dioxolane, and 1,4-dioxane) in water were measured at several temperatures in the range from 273 to 373 K. Six experimental techniques were employed for the purpose. A comprehensive review is presented of experimental data on the limiting activity coefficients, infinite dilution partial molar excess enthalpies and heat capacities of these aqueous solutes. For each ether, the compiled data were critically evaluated and together with the data measured in this work correlated with a suitable model equation providing adequate simultaneous description of the equilibrium measurements and the calorimetric information. As a result, a recommended thermodynamically consistent temperature dependence of limiting activity coefficients of superior accuracy was established in the range from the melting point to the normal boiling point of water.   • Limitní aktivitní koeficienty sedmi vybraných éterů (diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, tetrahydropyran, dimethoxymethan, 1,2dimethoxyethan, 1,3-dioxolan, and 1,4-dioxan) ve vodě byly stanoveny při několika teplotách v intervalu od 273 do 373 K. K tomuto účelu bylo využito šesti experimentálních technik. Dále je pro tyto vodné roztoky prezentován úplný přehled experimentálních limitních aktivitních koeficientů, parciálních molárních dodatkových entalpií a tepelných kapacit v nekonečném zředění. Nalezená literární data byla pro každý éter kriticky posouzena a společné s daty měřenými v této práci byla korelována vhodnou rovnicí poskytující adekvátní simultánní popis rovnovážných měření a kalorimetrických informací. Výsledkem jsou doporučené termodynamicky konzistentní závislosti přesných limitních aktivitních koeficientů v intervalu od normálního bodu tání po normální bod varu vody. Analogická doporučení byla odvozena také pro teplotní závislost Henryho konstant. Jsou zde také stručně diskutovány změny tě (cs)
