  • Práce se zabývá studiem elektroosmotických mikro- a nanočerpadel řízených AC elektrickým polem s malou amplitudou. Byly navrženy dvě uspořádání: pole asymetrických koplanárních elektrod a pole symetrických koplanárních elektrod s fázovým posunem vloženého elektrického pole. Bylo například zjištěno, že závislost globální rychlosti čerpání na vložené frekvenci pole je silně nelineární, a že při určité frekvenci dochází ke změně směru toku. (cs)
  • This work deals with electroosmotic micro- and nanopumps driven by a low-amplitude AC electric field. Two arrangements have been proposed: (i) an array of pairs of coplanar asymmetric electrodes, and (ii) an array of electrodes with an applied traveling-wave electric potential. Mathematical models based on Poisson-Navier-Stokes-Nernst-Planck's description have been developed and analyzed. In contrast to papers recently published, we have numerically analyzed transport phenomena forced by an electric field in the entire microsystem including the electric double layer. We have observed the same phenomena as in relevant experimental works such as the global flow reversal for a particular AC frequency. The dynamics of the AC electroosmotic flow has also been studied.
