Description
  • The fundamental flotation process is the formation of a flocculant, formed by air bubbles and solid particles in an aqueous solution. The behaviour of the plastic particles is significantly influenced by the wettability of the plastics. In this article the reciprocal coherence between the flotability and wettability of plastics (polystyrene) was studied at different concentrations of flotation agents, particularly terpineol, polyethylene glycol dodecyl ether, tannic acid and calcium lignosulfonate. The conclusions obtained demonstrate the dissimilar action of flotation depressants, what means different adhesion mechanism on a plastic surface.

  • Klíčovým procesem při flotaci je tvorba flokulí tvořených bublinami a pevnými částicemi ve vodných roztocích. Chování plastových materiálů je výrazně ovlivněna snášivostí plastů. V tomto článku byly studovány vzájemné závislosti mezi flotovatelností a snášivostí polystyrenu a to při různých koncentracích flotačních činidel - terpineolu, polyethylen glykol dodecyl etheru, tanninu a lignosulfonátu vápenatého. Získané výsledky demonstrují rozdílný vliv flotačních depresorů, což je způsobeno odlišným adhezním mechanismem na povrchu plastů. (cs)
