Description	Palivové články využívající methanol jako palivo představují perspektivní alternativu ke klasickým bateriím užívaným v přenosných zařízeních. Rozsáhlé úsilí je věnováno zlepšování provozních parametrů methanolových palivových článků. Jeden z problémů představuje permeace methanolu různými materiály používanými v těchto článcích, protože může významně snížit účinnost článku a omezit jeho aplikace. Příspěvek presentuje výsledky měření permeabilit různých plošných materiálů (membrán) pro methanol v klasické dvou-komorové difuzní cele. (cs) Direct methanol fuel cells represent promising alternative to classical batteries used in mobile appliances (lap-tops, cellular phones etc.) There is considerable experimental effort to improve operational measures of direct methanol cells (DMFC). One of fundamental aspects concerns permeability of various materials used in DMFC's with respect to methanol as the rate of methanol permeation fundamentally affects the fuel cell performance. We have measured permeabilities of methanol in NAFION and RALEX ion exchange membranes and in Torray Graphite Paper using 'classical' two-chamber diffusion cell. Effects of methanol concentration and temperature on permeability value are presented and analysed.
