  • Pomocí kontinuačního programu byla provedena bifurkační analysa zjednodušeného modelu trojcestného katalysátoru (TWC). V modelu bylo použito nestacionární reakční schéma TWC, vyhodnocené z dynamických experimentů na katalysátoru Pt/CeO2/? Al2O3. Model předpovídá pro určité provozní parametry výskyt vícenásobných ustálených stavů (hysterese) a oscilací jak pro samotnou oxidaci CO, tak pro celé schéma TWC (oxidace CO a uhlovodíků, redukce NOX). Pomocí analysy reakční sítě byly nalezeny autokatalytické smyčky. Provoz monolitu byl dále simulován pomocí prostorově dvourozměrného modelu trojcestného konvertoru (s vnitřní difusí a axiálním vedením tepla). Kinetické oscilace dávají vzniknout složitým časoprostorovým koncentračním strukturám uvnitř monolitu. (cs)
  • Continuation software has been used for bifurcation analysis of the lumped approximation of the three-way catalytic converter (TWC). A nonstationary TWC reaction scheme evaluated from dynamic experiments on Pt/CeO2/?-Al2O3 has been employed in the model. Multiple steady states (hysteresis) and oscillations are predicted both for the CO oxidation submodel and the full TWC scheme (the CO and hydrocarbon oxidation and the NOX reduction) in a certain range of operation parameters. The autocatalytic loops are identified by reaction network analysis. The operation of the monolith is then simulated by spatially 2D mathematical model of TWC converter (with internal diffusion in the washcoat and axial heat conduction). Kinetic oscillations reflect in complex spatiotemporal patterns in the washcoat along the monolith.
