  • Tento příspěvek se zabývá popisem návrhu systému pro odhad koncentrace biomasy na bázi neuronové sítě. Charakteristickým rysem tohoto systému je využití informace o okamžitém metabolismu kultivovaného mikroorganismu odvozovaného v režimu on-line znalostním systémem. Na modelovém procesu přítokované kultivace pekařského droždí jsou zkoušeny dvě ruzné návrhové varianty. Při první variantě je údaj o metabolickém stavu použit jako doplňkový vstup do neuronové sítě, v druhé variantě jsou informace o metabolickém stavu užity pro výběr vhodné neuronové sítě, kde každá z nich je určena pro specifický metabolický stav. Byly užity dva různé typy neuronových sítí - dopředná (Levenberg-Marquardt) a na bázi kaskádní korelace. Systémy založené na kombinacích uvedených typů neuronových sítí a architektur pro využití informace o metabolickém stavu byly testovány na experimentálních datech. (cs)
  • This paper deals with the design of a neural network-based biomass concentration estimation system. This system is enhanced by the incorporation of information about the actual metabolism of the microorganism cultivated, which is taken from an on-line knowledge-based system. Two different design approaches have been investigated using the fed-batch cultivation of bakers yeast as the model process. In the first, metabolic state (MS) data were passed as additional input to the neural network; in the second, these data were used to select a neural network suitable for the specific MS. Two neural network types - feed-forward (Levenberg-Marquardt) and cascade correlation - were applied to this system and tested, and the performances of these neural networks were compared.
