Description
  • We adopt the mathematical modeling of the morphogenesis of polyolefin particles as the tool for systematic understanding of various morphogenesis scenarios. The porous polymer macroparticle is assumed to consist of a large number of individual micro-elements (grains), i.e., catalyst fragments jacketed in the polymer layer. The rate of the growth of each particular grain depends on the local catalyst concentration and activity and on the local concentration of the monomer. The morphogenesis of polymer particle is governed by the binary and ternary visco-elastic interactions of individual growing micro-elements. These visco-elastic interactions are described by visco-elastic models, such as Maxwell or more general models. Various types of morphologies of polymer particles are obtained when different visco-elastic properties and/or different initial conditions are considered.

  • Matematické modelování morfogeneze částic polyolefinů je využito jako nástroj systematického pochopení různých vývojů morfologie. Porézní částice polymeru je pro účely modelování diskretizována do velkého počtu mikro-elementů (zrn), tj. fragmentů katalyzátoru obklopených vrstvou polymeru. Rychlost růstu každého zrna závisí na lokální distribuci katalyzátoru a koncentraci monomeru. Morfogeneze částice polymeru je popsána binárními a ternárními visko-elastickými interakcemi jednotlivých rostoucích mikro-elementů. Různé typy morfologií částic polymeru jsou získány pokud uvažujeme různé visko-elastické vlastnosti a/nebo různé počáteční podmínky. (cs)
