  • Sorpční rovnováhy monomerů, ko-monomerů a jejich směsí v polyolefinech jsou důležité během katalytické polymerizace, kde jsou aktivní centra katalyzátoru pokryta rostoucím semi-krystalickým polymerem. Rozpustnosti reakčních složek v polymeru tak ovlivňují rychlost polymerizace. Sorpční rovnováhy jsou důležité také v odplyňovacích procesech ve výrobě polyolefinů. Rozpustnost monomerů v polymeru byla v tomto příspěvku stanovena gravimetricky. Tato práce se zabývá především správným zpracováním surových gravimetrických dat včetně stanovení objemu vzorku a bobtnání polymeru během sorpčních experimentů, což jsou údaje požadované pro korekci sorbovaného množství na vztlak. Je porovnání bobtnání polymeru získané experimentálně a predikované stavovou rovnicí PC SAFT. (cs)
  • Sorption equilibria of monomers, comonomers and especially their mixtures are important during catalytic polymerisation where the active catalyst sites are covered by growing semi-crystalline polymer. Thus the solubilities of reaction components influence the rate of polymer chain propagation. Sorption equilibria are important also in the degassing step of polymer downstream processing. Solubility of monomers is often measured by gravimetric method. This contribution is focused on correct processing of raw gravimetric data including the determination of sample volume and polymer swelling during sorption experiment required for buoyancy correction. Polymer swelling determined experimentally and calculated by PC-SAFT (perturbed chain - statistical associating fluid theory) equation of state is compared. The significance of swelling effect is demonstrated.
