Description	Multiplicities of steady state and hysteresis have been observed in the heterogeneous mathematical model of Pt/Ce/Al2O3 three-way catalytic converter (TWC) with complex microkinetic reaction scheme and diffusion in the porous catalyst layer. In addition to that, oscillations of the concentrations in the reactor has been observed for a certain range of operation parameters and interaction of mass transport effects and the complex kinetics has lead to period doubling bifurcations.
