  • Effects of electro-transport processes on enzyme reactions in microreactors with gel-filled microchannels with immobilized enzymes and cells are studied by numerical simulations using mathematical models. Basic operational characteristics (effectiveness factor, enzyme consumption) of reactions are analyzed in dependence on electric current density.
