Description
| - The goal of this work is to construct plants with increased capabilities to degrade organic pollutants. For this purpose bacterial genes can be introduced into plant genome. Chosen genes of environmental importance are genes of bacterial dioxygenase ?todC1C2 genes. The todC1C2 genes were chosen to clone into plants to produce oxygenase ISPTOL (with histidine tail), a component of bacterial toluene dioxygenase that can oxidize toluene and other organic pollutants.

- Cílem této práce je příprava geneticky modifikovaných rostlin s vyšší účinností degradovat organické polutanty. Pro tento účel mohou být vneseny bakteriální geny do rostlinného genomu. Byly vybrány bakteriální geny todC1C2. Geny todC1C2 kódují dioxygenasu ISPTOL, součást bakteriálního enzymového komplexu toluen dioxygenasy, která oxiduje toluen a jiné organické polutanty a byly klonovány taktéž s histidinovou kotvou.
