Description
  • Vývoj LFIA pro detekci potravinových patogenů Listeria sp. a Listeria monocytogenes (cs)
  • A lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) is a single step method that is based on the principle of immunochromatography. These simple and rapid strip tests require only sample addition at one end of the device. Due to wicking (capillary) effects, the sample is drawn into the interstitial spaces of the membrane. While continuing along this flow path, the sample contacts the dried reagent, usually a labeled antibody, which then migrates with the analyte to a capture zone containing immobilized antibodies. At this zone, the analyte-antibody complex binds to the immobilized antibody; signal is visible as a black line. The genus Listeria includes six species: L. monocytogenes, L. ivanovii, L. seeligeri, L. innocua, L. welshimeri, and L. grayi. The severe disease listeriosis caused by these bacteria is one of the most deadly bacterial infections currently known. Only L. monocytogenes has been recognized as an important foodborne pathogen causing infectio
