  • The interest in the analysis of VOCs in air has been an ever growing concern for indoor and ambient air in virtually every urban city along with the concern of people for quality life in safe and clean environment. Sampling is arguably the most important step of any analytical procedure. During sampling the following three conditions should be fulfilled: (1) the air samples need to be representative; (2) the procedure should be very simple to perform in any region and (3) no degradation or losses between sampling and analysis must occur. Keeping all this in mind this study was trying to answer several important questions by comparing VOC analysis in air by sorption tubes and canister sampling.
