Description	There is a demand from consumers to increase performance of their engine oil and as a consequence many aftertreatment additives are sold in retail. Offer of these aftertreatment oil additives depends on both the intended usage and the producer. From the view of composition, they may contain solid particles such as PTFE, friction modifiers, antioxidation agents, and motor wash detergents. Also views on quality of aftertreatment additives are different. Although engine and motor oil industry strictly refuses any usage of these additives, they are successful in retail, supported by press and TV commercials as well as by false recommendation of having outstanding capability in lubrication and cleaning, and improving further properties of engine operation.
