  • This work deals with decontamination of MRSA (Methycilin Resistive Staphylococus Aureus), espetially Livestock Associated LA-MRSA ST398 strain directly in pig breeding environment. Three methods of decontamination was used 1) UVA photocatalytic decontamination on photocatalytic paints, 2) air purification system based on UV-C column and 3) cleaning Aguacure solutions from nebulizer. All decontamination systems were installed directly in pig hutch on farm and samples for cultivation were taken from different places including pig skin. Results show that all three methods are comparable and effective at MRSA decontamination.
