Description	The behaviour of natural rubber during its processing is often unpredictable. It is caused by variability of rheological properties depending on molecular weight (distribution), gel content and nonrubber ingredients (proteins, long fatty acid esters, saccharides ...) content. In this work African and Asian natural rubbers were compared according to their rheological properties (Mooney viscosity, Mooney relaxation, Wallace plasticity, PRI and data from RPA) relating to processing behaviour. Asian rubbers reached higher values of measured parameters than African rubbers. Correlations of obtained data were performed. Satisfactory correlations have been reached when data were classified according to rubber origin (smaller geographic units).
