  • Layers prepared from TiO2 powder particles effectively combine two crucial parameters of heterogeneous photocatalysis, namely high surface area and immobilization of the photocatalyst. Sedimentation or spraying of the powder suspension is the most common procedure to prepare such layers. Other possible techniques are electrophoresis and dip-coating. The type of powder photocatalyst as well as the way of layer deposition could significantly influence the properties of the formed particulate films. In the present study three various powder photocatalysts, namely P25 (Degussa) and anatase AV-01 and S7001 of Czech production (sulphate process), were immobilized using three different techniques: sedimentation, electrophoresis and dip-coating. Used photocatalytic powders were characterized by SEM, XRD and BET methods.

  • Částicové vrstvy připravované z prášku TiO2 v sobě efektivně spojují dva zásadní parametry heterogenní fotokatalýzy ? velký specifický povrch a fixaci fotokatalyzátoru na podložku. Nejčastěji používané způsoby přípravy vrstev jsou sedimentace a sprejování. Typ použitého práškového fotokatalyzátoru a stejně tak i způsob depozice vrstev má zásadní vliv na vlastnosti částicových vrstev. V předkládané studii byly použity tři typy práškových fotokatalyzátorů ? P25 (Degussa) a dva typy práškového anatasu české výroby AV-01 a S7001, které byly na substrát nanášeny sedimentačně, elektroforézou a dip-coatingem. Použité fotokatalyzátory byly charakterizovány SEM, XRD a BET analýzami. (cs)
