  • Potential application of zeolite MFI membranes is in the field of membrane reactors. The advantages of the membrane reactors have been demonstrated for series of reaction systems. However, one of the most important membrane characteristics is its stable operation during catalytic reaction and/or separation. Impurity immobilization inside zeolite pores decreases flux of permeating components. The aim of the study is to monitor zeolite membrane flux and separation factor as a function of total molar amount fed to the zeolite membrane surface area. The results showed that the flux of hydrocarbons (butane isomers) decreased with increasing molar amount of the feeding components. The flux of permeating components (n-butane, isobutane) was reduced by factor of 1.6 for n-butane and 2.3 for isobutane. Ideal separation factor increased at early stages from 16 reaching steady value around 26. Real separation factor increased from 12 to 16.   • Potenciální plikace zeolitových MFI membrán je na poli membránových reaktorů. Výhody membránových reaktorů byly demonstrovány pro řadu reakčních systémů. Jedna z nejdůležitějších charakteristik membrán je jejich stabilita provozu běhěm katalytické reakce a/nebo separace. Zachycení nečistot uvnitř pórů zeolitu snižují hustotu toku prostupujících složek. Cílem studie je monitorování hustoty toku přes zeolitovou membránu a separační faktor jako funkce celkového látkového množství přiváděného na plochu membrány. Výsledky ukazují, že hustota toku uhlovodíků (izomery butanu) klesá s rostoucím látkovým množstvím vstupujících složek. Hustota toku prostupujících složek (n-butan, iso-butan) byla snížena násobkem 1,6 pro n-butan a 2,3 pro iso-butan. Ideální separační faktor vzrostl z 12 na 16. Hustota toku pomalu klesala, zatim co separační faktor rostl. Proto je nezbytné čištění zeolitové MFI kompozitové membrány pro udržení permeační hustoty toku. (cs)
