  • Layers prepared from TiO2 powder particles effectively combine two crucial parameters of heterogeneous photocatalysis, namely high surface area and immobilization of the photocatalyst. Sedimentation or spraying of the powder suspension are the most common procedures to prepare such layers. Other possible techniques are electrophoresis and dip-coating. The type of powder photocatalyst as well as the way of layer deposition could significantly affect the properties of the formed particulate films. Therefore the present study deals with the preparation of particulate TiO2 layers. Three various powder photocatalysts, namely P25 (Degussa) and anatase Tit 1 and Tit 2 of a Czech production, were used and three different techniques, i.e., spraying, electrophoresis and dip-coating, were applied.   • Vrstvy připravené z částic práškového TiO2 v sobě kombinují dva zásadní parametry heterogenní katalýzy: vysoký specifický povrch a imobilizaci katalyzátoru. Sedimentace a spraying suspenze jsou nejčastější metody přípravy těchto vrstev. Další možnou technikou je elektroforéza a dip-coating. Typ fotokatalyzátorů stejně jako metoda přípravy vrstvy můžou mít významný vliv na vlastnosti připravených filmů. Tato studie se zabývá přípravou částicových vrstev. Byly zvoleny tři různé fotokatalyzátory: P25 (Degussa) a anatas Tit1 a Tit2 od českého výrobce. A k přípravě byly použity tři různé techniky: spraying, elektroforéza a dip-coating. Připravené vrstvy byly charakterizovány metodou SEM, XRD a BET. Fotokatalytická aktivita vrstev byla testována pomocí fotokatalytické degradace modelové látky Acid Oranž 7 (sodná sůl kys. 2-hydroxy-1-naftylazo benzensulfonové) ve vodném roztoku. Toto azobarvivo má absorpční maximum ve viditelné oblasti při 485 nm a absorpční minimum v oblasti kolem 350 nm, což odpovídá vlno (cs)
