  • Distribuce potenciálu a proudových hustot byly měřeny a počítány na základě matematického modelu v cele s bipolární elektrodou. Rozměry bipolární elektrody ve směru toku proudu byly úmyslně zvětšeny z důvodu možnosti experimentálně stanovit elektrodový potenciál a lokální hodnoty proudových hustot v závislosti na pozici, a to jak uvnitř elektrolytu, tak i v těle elektrody . Experimentální výsledky ukázaly, že nejaktivnější oblasti bipolární elektrody jsou lokalizovány na koncích nejblíže k terminálním elektrodám. Modelové rovnice byly řešeny metodou konečných objemů. Výsledné řešení se kvalitativně velmi dobře shodovalo s experimenty (cs)
  • Potential and current density distributions were modelled and measured for an electrochemical cell with a bipolar electrode.
