  • The pyrolysis gas chromatography (Pyr-GC) technique was used for studying the primary reactions and products of hydrocarbons pyrolysis. The aim of the work was to develop the optimal method of measurement and confirm the widespread concept of the primary selectivity being low sensitive to the reaction temperature. Three representatives of n-alkanes homological series in naphtha and mid-boiling distillates - octane, dodecane, and hexadecane were used as model compounds. Selected hydrocarbons were pyrolysed at different temperatures (between 650 °C and 750 °C) and different residence times in the reactor.

  • Pyrolýzní chromatografie byla použita ke studiu primárních reakcí a produktů pyrolýzy uhlovodíků. Cílem práce bylo vyvinout optimální metodu pro měření primárních selektivit a potvrdit rozšířený koncept nízké citlivosti této veličiny na reakční teplotu. Jako modelové látky byly využity n-alkany různé délk řetězce odpovídající lineárním uhlovodíkům přítomným v benzinech, naftách a středních destilátech. (cs)
