The stands were one or three times per year cut with the mass removing or one or two times mulched. The last harvest was done always in the end of the vegetation season. The dry mass yield, the share of legumes in the yield (by weight method) and the nitrates concentration (in the beginning and in the end of the vegetation season) were analysed during 6 years. The NO3-N concentrations under the grass stands was the lowest, it varied in dependence on the species in average from 3.9 t (en)
