Description	Forests in the Czech Republic are under long and strong influence of society. The man started to cut or burn the trees in early medieval ages and thus strongly influence the existence of the forests and their species composition. In spite of some restriction from King of Bohemia the forest became very soon devastated and disappeared from places where soils were suitable for agricultural purposes. Nowadays Forest Act declares in headings that Czech forests represent national fortune which is non replaceable part of our environment.
