Description
  • Composite materials are nowadays expanding into many fields. The use of composite materials is limited by their characteristics that affect its individual components. Properties required for a particular application can be achieved by combining the various components with specific characteristics. Adding micro particles of Al2O3 and glass beads is intended to influence and improve the mechanical properties of the particle composite. The aim of this paper is to find an optimal representation of the components of Al2O3/glass beads and their ratio depending on the resulting mechanical properties of the composite. Along with different ratios of the individual components were also used different particle sizes of the ingredients used. As the matrix of the composite was used epoxy resin.
