  • The increase of steel strength characteristic by the conventional heat treatment – hardening treatment – is the most extended Method. During the tempering the martensitic structure disintegration occurs and it conduces to the strength characteristic decrease and contemporary to the toughness increase. Excerpt the steel strength characteristics the transition temperature value is for the designer important, too. Therefore we are searching for strength, Toughness and transition temperature optimum values, which correspond to the concrete application.
