Description
  • The article is focused on various segmentation methods and its implementation under Matlab Image Processing Toolbox enviroment. These methods were used for positionig single optic-fibers on head of the optic-fiber orientaded bundle. Basic teoretical principles of three chosen segmentation methods and its realization in Matlab language are shown, too. The presented methods were applied to a selected cut out of the bundle picture. The accuracy of the methods was tested by cumulative euclid deviations from reference position and the average and maximum euclid deviation.
