Description	The interaction of housing system (conventional cages vs. litter), genotype (ISA Brown, Hisex Brown and Moravia BSL) and age on egg quality parameters was evaluated. Eggs were sampled three times in a laying period, at the age between 20 and 24 weeks, 38 and 42 weeks and from 56 to 60 weeks. One hundred twenty eggs from a strain, housing and period were collected for egg quality assessment (total 2150 eggs). In egg weight, the significant interaction of housing and genotype (P?0.017) was determined as well as genotype and age (P?0.001). Yolk weight was more affected by hens age than albumen. The effect of housing system in albumen quality was significant (P?0.001) with lower values on litter. Three-way significant interactions were found in egg shell surface (P?0.037) and albumen weight (P?0.050).
