| - The objective of this study was to evaluate the relationships among several health disorders: milk fever, retained placenta, metritis, ovarian cysts, clinical mastitis, and lameness on the productive performance of dairy cows. The dataset of 1432 Holstein cows calved between January 2000 and April 2004 from 4 commercial dairy herds was analyzed by the linear regression model which included the effects of herd-year-season of calving, parity, breeding value level for milk yield, health disorders, and regression to the first calving age within parity. Milk fever had a significant influence (P < 0.01 and P < 0.05) on milk yield in 100 days of lactation and on FCM yield in 305 days, endometritis occurrence affected (P < 0.001) milk yield in 305 days of lactation and 305 days FCM production, ovarian cysts had a significant effect (P < 0.01 and P <0.0001) on milk yield in 100 and 305 days of lactation or 305 days FCM production, respectively.
